Product Release 2025.8

Adds internal notes on workflow requests, including notes in CSV exports, plus a fix for Sirion contract ID lookups.

Written by Jonathan

Welcome to the August 2025 release of BriefBox. This is a small, focused update that introduces notes on workflow requests and delivers a fix to Sirion contract lookups.

📝 Notes on Workflow Requests

You can now add internal notes to workflow requests. Notes let your legal team capture commentary, risk considerations, and clarifications directly on a request, and they are kept private to your legal users and moderators. Business users who raised the request will never see them.

Notes are also included as a dedicated column when you export workflow requests to CSV, so your annotations travel with the request data for reporting, auditing, and archiving. The same visibility rules apply to exports, so business users' exports do not include the notes column.

What this means for you:

  • Keep the full context of a request in one place, instead of tracking commentary in emails or spreadsheets.

  • Share internal legal considerations with your team confidently, knowing they stay private.

  • Bring notes into your offline reports and audit records automatically via CSV export.

🐛 Fixes

  • Sirion Contract Id: Sirion contract IDs with extra spaces are now handled correctly, so contract lookups work reliably.
