Welcome to our first release of 2026! Product Release 2026.1 went live on 11 January 2026 and focuses on making everyday work smoother. You get bigger email attachments, more powerful reporting and CSV exports, smarter filtering in Launchpad, and a healthy round of fixes and polish across the platform.
Here is what is new.
đ Bigger Email Attachments
The email attachment limit has been raised to 100MB, so larger documents can now be sent directly from BriefBox without workarounds.
If an attachment is still too large to send, the email now includes a clearer note letting recipients know they can view the attachments in BriefBox instead.
đ Reporting & CSV Improvements
Risk CSV import. You can now bring risks into BriefBox from a CSV file, making it much easier to load risk data from other systems or spreadsheets.
Master Account in Matter exports. Matter CSV exports now include the Master Account field, so exported data lines up neatly with your account structure.
Workflow assignment timestamps. Workflow request CSV exports now include the date and time each request was assigned, so you can measure the time from submission to assignment for your own turnaround and SLA reporting.
Offering filter on Account Reports. Account Reports can now be filtered by Offering, giving you a sharper view of activity for a specific service line.
đ Launchpad & Workflow Improvements
Better owner filtering. The Owner filter in Launchpad is now a select with search, so you can find and choose owners quickly instead of scrolling through a long list.
Open status filtering. Launchpad matter filtering now supports an Open status option, which is especially handy for compliance reviews.
Offering details in emails. Deal Signed, Deal Lost, and workflow notification emails now include the Offering details, so recipients get the full picture at a glance without opening BriefBox.
No more false "modified" warnings. Workflow queues no longer show a modified warning when nothing has actually changed.
Smarter Matter Team assignment. The person who creates a matter is now only added to the Matter Team automatically when the team is blank, so your deliberate team selections are respected.
đ¨ Visual Improvements & Fixes
Fixed the status indicator in matter history, which could show as filled when it should appear empty with a dotted outline.
Fixed a display issue where the status date could overflow on completed and terminated matters in Launchpad.
Fixed an issue where uploading multiple files to a request could silently fail. Multi file uploads now complete reliably.
Fixed an issue where workflow requests would sometimes fail to load.
Dispatchers now receive notification emails consistently for requests in their Unallocated tab.
A range of smaller visual UI fixes, plus behind the scenes reliability and performance improvements.
